- Location data: to match Riders and Drivers and calculate fares.
- Usage data: device type, app version, IP address, and interaction logs.
- Trip data: pickup and drop-off points, trip time, route, and fare.

- Identity verification partners.

- Analytics and advertising partners.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Match Riders with nearby Drivers.
- Calculate and process payments.
- Improve safety and app performance.

We may share your data with:
- Drivers/Riders: basic profile and trip details for matching.
- Service providers: payment gateways, identity verification, analytics, and hosting.

🚗 CallARide Driver Agreement
Effective Date: 19th October, 2025
This Driver Agreement (“Agreement”) is between CallARide (“Company”) and the independent driver (“Driver”).
By registering as a Driver on CallARide, you agree to the following terms:
1. Independent Contractor Status
- You operate as an independent contractor, not an employee, of CallARide.
- You are free to choose when and where to drive.
- You are responsible for all taxes, licenses, permits, and insurance required by law.
2. Driver Requirements
You must:
- Hold a valid driver’s license and national ID.
- Own or have permission to operate a registered and roadworthy vehicle.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
- Provide proof of vehicle insurance.
- Pass any background or document verification required by CallARide.
3. Use of the App
- You must use the CallARide Driver App to accept trip requests.
- You agree not to share your account or log in on behalf of another person.
- You must comply with all local traffic and safety laws.
- You agree to behave professionally and respectfully toward Riders.
4. Fares and Payments
- The fare for each trip is calculated by the app.
- CallARide deducts a service fee or commission from each completed trip.
- Payments are transferred to your registered mobile money or bank account.
- You are responsible for data charges, fuel, and vehicle maintenance costs.
5. Ratings and Reviews
- Riders can rate your service after each trip.
- You agree to maintain high-quality service.
- Repeated low ratings or complaints may result in temporary or permanent suspension.
6. Safety and Conduct
Drivers must:
- Drive safely and obey traffic rules.
- Not operate under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Not discriminate against Riders.
- Immediately report any accidents or safety incidents via the app or support channel.
7. Insurance and Liability
- You are responsible for maintaining personal and vehicle insurance coverage.
- CallARide is not liable for damages, losses, or injuries during rides.
- You agree to indemnify CallARide for any claims arising from your conduct or negligence.
8. Account Suspension or Termination
CallARide may suspend or terminate your driver account if you:
- Provide false or expired documents.
- Engage in fraud, misconduct, or unsafe behavior.
- Violate this Agreement or applicable laws.
You may stop using the platform anytime by notifying support and clearing pending payments.
9. Data Use and Privacy
By using the Driver App, you consent to the collection and use of your personal and vehicle data as outlined in the CallARide Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malawi.
Disputes shall be resolved by competent courts within Lilongwe City.
11. Acceptance
By tapping “I Agree” or by continuing to use the Driver App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
